Walking round Molteno Reservoir

Upped my walk from 15 to 30 mins (yes, I know it's kinda sad) and managed to do a complete circuit of the Molteno Reservoir this morning. Things that made me glad I'd got up : A shining sunny day with a slightly chill crisp breeze; the first blue-mauve azaleas of spring; the sound of little waves slapping against the reservoir wall; and best of all the resident Egyptian Geese with their new brood of ten fluffy ducklings trying out their swimming skills. Parents are extremely protective and somewhat threatening so you have to do a wide circuit as you walk past, but for ducklings I'll even do the extra steps even if the knees display ominous signs of collapsing.

Would have liked to take pix of all the above but no photos allowed.. a threat to national security?
